Save money and think green. That’s the message InkSpot owner Michael Lynch is trying to spread among businesses in Southern New
Hampshire.

InkSpot, an ink and toner refilling business, recently opened a third store at Plaza One in Derry.

Lynch provides ink and toner refills for printer, fax and copier cartridges for individual consumers as well as businesses.

InkSpot also carries a line of compatible ink and toner cartridges.

Serious about protecting the environment, Lynch said turning in empty ink or toner receptacle recycles and saves these items from hitting landfills, He said he has refilled more than 20,000 cartridges in his stores over the last two years — cartridges that would have otherwise gone into a landfill.

“Every second, eight cartridges get thrown out in the United States,” he said. “That amounts to over 350 million in North America alone in a year. It takes hundreds of years for a cartridge to decompose. I feel good about being able to keep 20,000 cartridges from the landfills.’’

lnkSpot refills black and color printer/fax/copier cartridges for all major brand including HP, Dell, Lexmark, Brother, Canon and Epson.

“(Refilling cartridges) will save most customers up to 60 percent on ink and 40 percent on toner,” said Lynch. “Most ink cartridges can be refilled in less than 10 minutes and we carry all major brands for home and business use. We will even provide free delivery for orders over $50.”

Lynch said he has the most up-to-date equipment and training. He has the specific colors for each brand and knows exactly how to control the amount of ink going into a cartridge. He assured customers that every cartridge is fully tested before it is sold so that there are no surprises.

Cartridge refill services also serve as a time-saver for businesses. It takes only takes about 10 minutes to refill a cartridge. For many customers, InkSpot can swap out their cartridge with a prefilled and tested cartridge to save even more time.

Lynch said he stocks the most common cartridges on site. For those less common toner cartridges, he is able to ship them to the customer’s location in three business days.

InkSpot also carries both photo and multipurpose paper, refurbished printers with a 90-day warranty, and offers business cards, letterhead, envelopes and announcement printing services with all colors and fonts.

The store has most card stocks available with a two-day turnaround for many types of cards.

In addition, lnkSpot carries a variety of self-inking rubber stamps. The store will place a company name or logo on products.

The Derry store is at 37 Crystal Ave. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
